Pricing and Ordering

We would be very honored to create beautiful glass art memorials for you.

  • The price for one Heart, Orb, Starfish and Paw Print memorial is $225 (includes a velvet pouch and certificate). The price for each additional memorial is $185 each.
  • Memorial etching fee is $20 per memorial. Please see examples of the etching on the heart, starfish, orb and pawprint pages.
  • The price for the “Angel Wings” heart pendant is $195 each (includes a velvet pouch, ribbon & certificate).
  • The acrylic stands for heart, starfish, and paw prints are $4.45. The Angel Wings pendant display stand is $15.00.
  • The standard lighted base is $15.00 – Light is LED with plugin, USB or battery power.
  • The rotating lighted base is $25.00 – Light is LED with plugin, USB or battery power.
  • The Venetian Style and Celebration Style Oil Lamps are $350.
  • The Urns are $250. You don't need a collection package for Urns.
  • Gift certificates are available, please call (425) 802-5717 to coordinate. 

We mail you a Collection Package first to return a tablespoon of your loved one's ashes for each memorial to be created. We prefer 2 tablespoons to create the Oil Lamps. One Collection Package accommodates enough ashes to create up to 10 memorials, most families need just one. The package can only be returned USPS Priority Mail Express requiring special handling, tracking and signatures. Since 2012, we've mailed over 80,000 times safely.

For purchasing the new Fillable Urns, you don't need a collection package. Please call, text or email us. We have many of each color available. Until we have a video inventory, we'd be happy to email or text a few short videos of a few individual urns so you can pick exactly which one you'd like.

Collection Package

How will I send my loved one's ashes to you?

Fill out the form below to request a complimentary collection package. We will provide you with everything you need to safely return your loved one's ashes: A USPS Flat Rate padded mailer approved for ashes, approved box, instructions, order form, authorization form, a screw-top tin with a collection bag inside, a one-tablespoon disposable scoop, large ziplock bag, return mailing label and a brochure. We need about one tablespoon of ash per memorial. One metal tin holds enough ashes for 8-10 Memorials.

Ship from an official USPS office only. The USPS clerk will charge the current local rate for Priority Mail Express with tracking, signatures and special handling.

For Canadian clients, we recommend returning your package "Expedited Parcel", priced at your local postal rate. We will contact you when the package arrives and go over everything to be certain it’s perfect. We will return your beautiful memorial by Priority Mail Express International, which requires a signature, customs information, special handling and tracking.

We understand it can be very difficult to take a small amount of your loved one's ashes. We recommend getting help from a great friend or funeral home. If you're in the Seattle area, we will arrange doing this for you at our studio. Just let us know.

We return any unused ashes with your memorial order. We ship the collection package First Class Parcel which takes approximately 3-5 days to arrive. The return mailer and your returning memorials are shipped USPS Cremated Remains Priority Mail Express Shipping with special handling, tracking and signature required. We've mailed over 80,000 packages safely. This shipping method is almost always one day service. The “How do you guarantee” FAQ shows how we mark each memorial uniquely for perfect identification.
  • The collection package is complimentary and contains instructions, brochure, an order form, Authorization to Infuse your Loved One's ashes within glass art, screw top metal tin for a tablespoon of ashes for each memorial to be created, and an addressed USPS Cremated Remains Priority Mail Express padded Flat Rate Mailer to return to us. One Collection Package accommodates enough ashes to create up to ten memorials. Most families need just one. The Padded Mailer has “Cremated Remains” stickers on it and an address label. The USPS clerk will charge your current local postal rate for nationwide Flat Rate shipping, including special handling, tracking and requires a signature. We will contact you to let you know your package arrived and verify your order to make sure everything is perfect. Once your package arrives to us, it’s about 6 1/2 weeks before your memorials are back within your hands.
  • The USPS Priority Mail Express for Cremated Remains shipping has changed significantly in 2026. Please see grid below. If we return your memorials to more than one address, shipping charges are calculated separately for each address.

  • The "Angel Wings" pendants ship in any quantity for $80.00 if we’re returning unused ashes or $34.00 without unused ashes returned. If you are ordering memorials and/or oil lamps, they are included at no additional shipping charge.
  • Our starfish are about 4 inches across and take up a little more room than hearts, orbs and pawprints. If starfish are included in orders of 2 or more, please call our shipping department for a possible shipping fee increase. Shipping Department (206) 979-2740
  • We return any unused ashes USPS Priority Mail Express, unless you would like them respectfully spread in Washington's Puget Sound from our boat. If you choose this complimentary service, we would be very honored. Please initial on the Authorization to Infuse Cremated Remains into Art Production form if you would like this respectful service.
  • The USPS has determined that Cremated Remains sealed within glass art can be mailed Priority Mail. In addition, we require the signature requirements to match the safety of Priority Mail Express. It may be a little confusing that shipping fees for your memorials coming home are less using the complimentary spreading so, if you have any questions, please please call Christina 425-802-5717.

  • Priority Mail is a 3-5 day estimated shipping service. Priority Mail Express, with or without Cremated Remains, is a 1-3 day Guaranteed Delivery.
  • If we are shipping to more than one address, please include in the "notes" section of your order form, or call us for instructions. Applicable shipping charges will be applied to each address.
  • For payment for US orders, we prefer a personal check with your package or, once your collection package arrives safely, we will email you an invoice with a link to our secure Quick Books Intuit online system to enter your credit card information. You will be emailed with a receipt automatically.
  • We will call you and email you tracking to let you know your Loved One’s memorials are on the way home.
  • We ask our Canadian and International clients to prepay the shipping charge to mail a collection package. The cost is $22.00 USD, we will invoice you before shipping.
  • Canada Post requests a copy of the "cremation certificate" to accompany your Loved One's ashes. If you've misplaced this form, our experience from several thousand attempts is, they've only asked for this a few times, and it's never stopped a small amount of your Loved One's ashes being shipped to Artful Ashes.
  • Cost for shipping your completed collection package “expedited parcel” to our USPS Post Office Box with special handling and tracking depends on your location and current postal rate.
  • Costs for returning your Loved One’s memorials to you vary based on size of the order. Please see chart below:

  • The "Angel Wings" heart pendants ship in any quantity for $48.00 separately, or included at no additional charge within heart, starfish, pawprint and orb orders.

  • We invoice in US dollars. We will email you an invoice after we have received your order. Please pay online by credit card; your credit card company will convert to Canadian dollars based on their current conversion rate.
